Appliance rebates offered

Beginning this week, consumers may apply for appliance purchase rebates with the launch of the second phase of the state's Energy Star Appliance Replacement and Rebate Program.

Honoring the Fallen

Memorial Day—Veterans groups and a large crowd of residents gathered at the Alleghany Courthouse to honor those who died in the service.
