Pine Ridge repairs ongoing

By LAURA THORNBURG
Staff

Residents who were evacuated from a Pine Ridge apartment building after a retaining wall collapsed Jan. 25 should be able to return in a few weeks, Overseer Pat Shore said.

Residents have been temporarily relocated to vacant locales in the apartment community following last week's evacuation of nine apartments. The problem involved only one of several apartment buildings in the Pine Ridge complex.

Shore said it will be at a minimum of two weeks before the residents can return to their apartments.

Of rumors about the apartments caving in and such, Shore said, "That's all they are, rumors."
