MEMORIAL DAY-Veterans gathered at the memorial on the lawn of the Alleghany Courthouse on Monday to pay their respects to their fallen comrades. In the photo at right, Bruce Wayne Osborne Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 7034 offers a gun salute.
