Snow-covered Sunrise

The early morning sun reflects off the freshly fallen snow in this photo taken Tuesday looking over a Christmas tree field in Sparta. The county received amounts of snow varying from one to two inches and early morning temperatures in the teens Tuesday led to icy road conditions in most of the county. Schools were closed that day and more snow is forecast for the early morning hours today (Wednesday), but significant accumulation is not expected.
