County agrees to grant for water study in Glade Creek

Staff The Alleghany County Board of Commissioners agreed at their regular monthly meeting to seek grant funds to study the feasibility of a water line in the Glade Creek community.

AMH honors thrift shop volunteers

While volunteers with the Alleghany Memorial Hospital Thrift Shop were recognized last week during a dinner at the High Meadows Country Club in Roaring Gap, the announcement was made that a fund drive is underway.
