Julie Braswell

Braswell is named new SunBridge administrator

Ararat resident Julie Braswell joined the SunBridge of Alleghany staff in June as its newest administrator. Braswell takes the place of Chuck Arnold, who held the position for about six months and left the facility to pursue other opportunities.

A graduate of East Surry High School, Braswell attended Surry Community College and graduated from nursing school in 1994. From there, she went to work in the emergency room of Northern Hospital of Surry County.

After two years of full-time employment at the hospital, Braswell opted to join the staff of Golden Living Center Surry Community while continuing to work as needed in the emergency room.
