Crouse
Mr. Crouse was 88 at the time of his death. He was born to Tyre and Lulu Cox Crouse on July 24, 1920 and had nine brothers and sisters.
He married Elvira Wagoner on Dec. 25, 1941 and later served in the army during World War II from 1942 until 1945.
Prior to joining the Army, he worked in Washington, D.C. as a survey instrument operator laying out the streets around the Pentagon.
After returning from the war, Crouse worked as a builder with his father-in-law, Bill Wagoner. Crouse later started up a building business with Buford Billings. The two dissolved their partnership in the early 1960s due to Billings' failing health.
