Widow Maker, driven by Gary Busic, drove away with the win during the
Demolition Derby Saturday night. About 1,600 attended the annual
event, which kicks off the county fair, took place at the Alleghany
Fairgrounds in Sparta.
According to information distributed to the event attendants, Widow
Maker was one of 20 to compete for the $500 prize and trophy. The
runner up, Kenny Waddell, driving number 99, received a $300 prize
and trophy.
