Farm Days

Bryan Cave of Surry County Cooperative Extension (photo at right) demonstrates a syringe used for vaccinating farm animals at a booth concerning animal health during the annual Farm Animal Day hosted by Alleghany Cooperative Extension on May 4. All of the county's second graders are invited to the event each year, which also features stations concerning dairy, goats, sheep, beef, horse, animal by products and feeds.
