Students at Glade Creek School celebrated the birthday of Theodor "Dr. Seuss" Geisel March 2 with different festivities, including a visit from the Cat in the Hat himself (portrayed by Glade Creek eighth grader Nick Carty).
To start off the day, green eggs and ham were served in the
cafeteria. Students in pre-kindergarten through sixth grade were then
entertained by local individuals who read Dr. Seuss' books.
