HOMECOMING—Alleghany High School seniors vying for homecoming queen get a ride onto the field in a convertible. They are Leann Carico (who was later crowned queen), Megan Jolly and Alyssa Mimbs.
In thephoto at left, last year's queen, Kayla Gauldin, crowns Carico during
the halftime show at Woodruff Field. North Stokes beat the Trojans by
