The civil case of Thomas Billings, as administrator of the estate of Susan Billings versus National Semi Trailer Corp. and Parkdale Mills Inc. has been slated to go to trial Oct. 16, according to an order for a mediated settlement conference in superior court and trial calendar notice.
The notice, filed Jan. 5 in the Alleghany County Clerk of Court Office, states the deadline for the completion of a mediated settlement conference is June 30.
Late last year, the week of March 20 had been requested for the case,
according to a to calendar and notice of hearing.
