The 19th annual Brinegar Days Festival was held last Saturday and Sunday at the 119-year-old cabin located just off milepost 238.5 on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The event began as the Brinegar family reunion and eventually turned into a festival celebrating traditional mountain crafts and music. An estimated 350 visitors attended the festival on Saturday, while 150 turned out on Sunday.
