The North Carolina Symphony will perform its summer pops concert July 21 at 7:30 p.m. in the Sparta Elementary School auditorium. Tickets, available at the door, cost $10 each. All children and students in Alleghany Schools will be admitted free.
Donations, which will help pay for the pops concert and the show for local students in the fall, also will be accepted.
Attendants are reminded that, during the performance, the use of flash cameras, video or audio recorders is strictly prohibited.
