A story that appeared in the May 12, 2005 edition of The Alleghany News regarding the indefinite suspension of the medical license of Dr. Sarwar Murtuza, erroneously stated that Dr. Murtuza was employed by Blue Ridge Cardiology.
Our newspaper has since learned that that statement was incorrect and that Dr. Murtuza was never associated or affiliated with or employed by Blue Ridge Cardiology.
The Alleghany News sincerely apologizes for this error and any
inconvenience it may have caused the patients or staff of Blue Ridge
Cardiology.
