Tentative dates have been set to hear a lawsuit in the coming months between Ashe County residents and Blue Ridge Electric Membership Corporation.
According to a document sent to the Ashe County Courthouse by Special Superior Court Judge John R. Jolly Jr., a date of April 12 has been set in the case of Blue Ridge Electric versus Dr. Ritz C. Ray Jr., Samuel B. and Shirley Church, Russell F. and Ann Vannoy, Robert Warren Miller and Jerry W. and Dian P. Ray.
“However, this setting is subject to final clearance by (Trial Court
Coordinator Jane) Blackburn with Mr. (Jerry) Roten, the clerk of
superior court.
