A tenative trial date for the class action suit between Blue Ridge Electric Membership Corporation and Ashe County residents has been set for Nov. 7, 2005, according to a Blue Ridge spokesperson. However, no mediation date has been set yet.
Blue Ridge Electric Membership Corporation filed an answer Nov. 17 to the amended class action complaint and counterclaims brought against them by several Ashe County residents.
According to the document, the company asked that the amended class
action complaint be dismissed.
