Sparta PD completes its move

The Sparta Police Department completed its move from the Law Enforcement Center (LEC) on Grayson Street to the Sparta Town Hall on Main Street last week.

Chief Frank Sanders said the department is settling in to its new home. “We really needed to move so we could have more space,” said Sanders. “Each officer now has his own office. It’s much better.”

The LEC offices only had three rooms allocated to the police department.
