Fireworks planned July 4Alleghany County's annual fireworks display is planned for Sunday, July 4. The display is slated to be launched from Davis Field, behind Alleghany High School, at night fall (between 9:30 p.m. and 10 p.m.) A rain date has been planned for Monday, July 5. The show will be put on Hale Artificier Fireworks Inc. of Lexington.
