In preparation for its opening, Alleghany Wellness Center Inc. is launching a membership drive to benefit the new wellness center on Nov. 24.

Despite a glitch that led to a delay in the presentation, a new Alleghany County website was officially unveiled Monday just after the regular county commission meeting.
