Change of venue granted

Alleghany County’s lawsuit against Bristol Compressors will be heard in Wilkes County rather than here.

In a brief interview Tuesday, Judge Russell G. Walker Jr. indicated that he had granted Bristol’s change of venue motion. Walker meanwhile denied the defendants’ two other motions, for summary judgment and to compel a deposition from attorney Ernest C. Pearson.
