Town officials last week agreed to some revisions on plans to restrict on-street parking near Alleghany Memorial Hospital.
During the Sparta Town Council's Oct. 7 meeting, Town Manager Tom Douglas also sought to clear up what he termed a controversy over who had asked for the measures. Council members had agreed last month to order the signs for both streets.
