Need a weather forecast to plan your day? Can't remember the time of an event you wanted to attend? Lost that email address of someone you wanted to contact?
If you have a connection to the Internet, the answer to these and other questions can all be found at one location: eAlleghany.net. (For those who do not have a computer, public access sites are available at the Alleghany County Library, chamber of commerce, A. Anderson Huber Cyber Campus at Alleghany High School and at Piney Creek and Glade Creek schools. Check with the locations for times and availability.
As for the website, it is designed to provide useful information to local residents: from an events calendar of local programs, to information on local agencies and services, as well as a directory of local churches and other features.
Funded in part by a Public Engagement Grant from the North Carolina
