The Alleghany Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees has selected a new permanent chief executive officer.
According to a release from the hospital, board Chairman John H. Miller announced last week that Kevin W. Harlan has accepted the CEO position. Harlan, his wife Amy and their two children currently reside in Durham, N.H. He is scheduled to begin work here May 26.
Kevin Harlan has 20 years of health care experience at hospitals ranging in size from 50 to 1,375 beds, the release said.
Harlan will replace Jim Yarborough, who resigned as CEO last November.
Joe DePew has served as interim CEO since then.
