As the holiday season ends, the Town of Sparta is providing help for residents to dispose of their Christmas trees.
Friday (Jan. 3) is tree pickup day. Town residents may place their Yule trees by the curbside by 9 a.m. that day.
Town maintenance crews will then collect the trees for recycling at the landfill.
Anyone wanting additional information may call the town office at 372-4257.
