The live outdoor program Dec. 8 also included Isaiah's prophecy and scenes depicting Christ's death and resurrection.
In the photo at right, Nina Jewell and Brett Goodwin of Osborne Memorial Baptist Church depict Mary and Joseph's journey to Bethlehem, with help from Pedro the donkey.
The Nativity scene, staged Dec. 7 at Trojan Village Shopping Center parking lot, was presented by the Alleghany Baptist Association. Members of the churches in the association — Bellview, Laurel Springs, Liberty and Mount Carmel — took turns in the portrayal.
