BRBDC expands its offerings to public

The opening of the Blue Ridge Business Development Center's (BDC) permanent location, the former Bassett Walker building, is about nine months in the future.

The BDC (formerly known as the Blue Ridge Telecenter) is already quite active, however, both at its temporary office on Main Street (the former Sheets Jewelry store) and at various satellite and associated locations.

The center's endeavors are primarily in two categories: providing computer-related training and offering technical service and assistance.
