Work on phase one of Alleghany Memorial Hospital's expansion and renovation project, which will triple AMH's emergency space and double its surgical space, is coming along well.

Lawsuit filed against Bristol to recoup incentive payments

Fair will begin Monday

The Alleghany County Agricultural Fair is taking on an old-time theme this year, with such traditional events as tug-of-war and a horseshoe tournament complementing the annual livestock and home-grown exhibits.
