Portraying his life — In the photo above, Savannah United Methodist Church members Alana Carico and Zachary Carico re-enact the Nativity, complete with sheep and a good-sized dog. The church featured a walk-through of the life of Christ last Saturday night.
In the photo at left, Jesus, portrayed by Rex Toliver, is baptized by John the Baptist (Bobby Shaw). Other stations featured Jesus' baptism, teachings, death, resurrection, ascension into
heaven and other aspects of His life. Easter will be celebrated this Sunday at churches around the county. A complete listing of Easter events appears on Page 6A.
