Streets lined for annual event
Parade has more than 75 entriesBy ROBBY LUCKEStaff Various vehicles — including military aircraft — children, animals, area dignitaries, pageant winners, churches and musicians were all part of Sparta's annual Fourth of July Parade last Saturday. Sandy Rost, chairman of the Sparta Revitalization Committee, which organized the parade, said there were more than 75 entries. She said she was especially pleased that so many floats were homemade; only three were commercial floats. |

lookout were a favorite with parade-goers.
