Piney Creek preschool seeks funds

After operating for a semester via an all-volunteer mode, leaders of Piney Creek Pre-School are hoping for funding to continue the program on a regular, ongoing basis.

A former day care worker was cleared Tuesday of charges of child abuse and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.

Manager suggests 6-cent tax increase
