Storyteller Joe Ferguson (right) entertains children with a tale of a dog and cat who become friends. The Alleghany Partnership for Children, Alleghany Arts Council and Alleghany County Library hosted Ferguson's appearance for their second annual family fun event, held at Sparta United Methodist Church last Saturday, as part of a child abuse prevention awareness effort.
