Blue Ridge Parkway officials have announced the spring opening schedule for park facilities.
Now open in North Carolina are the Cumberland Knob picnic area and
restrooms (the visitor center will open May 5) at milepost 217.5; Moses
Cone Manor House visitor center and restrooms at mile 294; the Folk Art
Center (open year-round) at mile 294; Price Park picnic area with
porta-johns at mile 296.4 and Julian Price Campground ‘A’ loop (the rest of
the campground will open May 4) at mile 296.9.
