A total of 17 people have applied for the position of tax administrator, according to County Manager Don Adams.
Adams said that interest in the position has been very high this time, more so than other times when the county advertised for applications. The 17 applicants for the position are about twice the number received in the past.
Interviews will likely begin in early January, Adams said, with a
candidate likely to be selected by the end of that month.
