INDEPENDENCE, Va. - A 22-year-old North Carolina man will face a Grayson County grand jury in January on a charge of aggravated involuntary manslaughter in connection with the traffic death of a Grayson County, Va. farmer in September.

Vera's death considered an accident

The Nov. 29 death of 22-year-old Gloria Vera is being investigated as an accident after an autopsy report that came in late last week, according to Capt. Carlton Edwards of the Sparta/Alleghany Volunteer Fire Department.
