Alleghany County Schools are announcing limited bus routes for each school for the snow season. Regular school announcement procedures will inform parents and students if the routes will be utilized instead of canceling school entirely. Announcements are available on local radio stations, local television stations and the school web site at http://www.alleghany.k12.nc.us. The web site is updated first with the snow day information before the other mediums. For more information, contact your child's school principal.
"Alleghany County Schools would like to ask for your cooperation and help so we can have school run as smoothly as possible," said Superintendent Duane Davis.
