Still going at 99, Harless has made her life helping othersMary Lyon Harless of the Pine Swamp community is proof that age doesn?t matter when it comes to being a volunteer and serving others. Mrs. Harless, 99, was recently honored by Gov. Jim Hunt as one of Alleghany County's top volunteers for 1999.
