At the beginning of the new school year, the students at Piney Creek Elementary School will have a new face and voice in the administrative office.

July 4 events spark interest

Stone Mtn. church faces controversy

A group of citizens from Traphill and surrounding communities, including many of the descendants of the founders of the Garden Creek Baptist Church, located in the Stone Mountain State Park, agreed recently to attempt to establish clear ownership of the church during a meeting at the park.
