Frontier says Alleghany gas lines to follow after WilkesFrontier Energy, the company that won the right to supply natural gas to Alleghany and several other counties in northwest North Carolina via pipeline, still will not commit to a time frame for providing service here.
Grayson National Bank has purchased land in Sparta recently with
plans to open a new bank branch here sometime this year,
according to Carl Richardson, CEO of the bank.
