Rabid Doe is Found on Stone MountainThe state's third known rabies case in a deer, and the second in Wilkes County, has been confirmed in an adult doe found in Stone Mountain State Park last week.
In a surprise move last Friday, the county's EMS workers signed off to
be certified as paramedics, despite the fact that they did not get the
pay increase that they were requesting.
